Surgical Instrument Repair
Techs
SterilMed, a rapidly growing medical device reprocessing and medical
instrument repair company, is seeking experienced individuals to
provide on-location surgical instrument repair services to our
hospital and surgery center clients. Repair services are provided
on-location in a specially equipped repair truck operated by the
Repair Technician.
SterilMed also seeks a
Surgical Instrument Repair Technician with 3 to 5+ years of
experience to assist in training new Repair Techs in the field.
Both of these positions require some travel, mostly within the
assigned territory, with some overnight stays.
Qualified candidates for the
repair positions will have 1+ years experience in surgical
instrument repair. Desired background includes small device
assembly, familiarity with soldering & welding techniques, working
under microscopes, and use of manual hand tools. The desired
candidate will have good manual dexterity, fine hand eye
coordination, a good driving record, pays close attention to detail,
and will present themselves professionally in front of SterilMed
customers.

Rigid Endoscope Repair Tech
SterilMed, a rapidly growing surgical equipment & instrument repair,
and medical device reprocessing company, is seeking a highly
qualified Rigid Endoscope Repair Technician to lead expansion
efforts at SterilMed’s main facility in Maple Grove, MN. Job duties
include repair lab expansion, equipment set up, technical training,
and performing ongoing diagnostics and repairs of Rigid Endoscopes.
Qualified candidates will have
3 to 5+ years experience repairing Rigid Endoscopes. The desired
candidate has the ability to diagnose problems, identify required
repairs, source replacement parts, perform high quality repairs, and
complete full functional inspections. The desired candidate also
has good manual dexterity, fine hand eye coordination, pays close
attention to detail, and has good communication and training skills.

endoscope repair company to pursue work in my home state of Texas.
I have five years experience in our industry as a repair technician
and branch supervisor. I also have a associates degree in electronics
and computer engineering (GPA 3.98). A few previous duties:
Supervise daily activities, including tech room work flow and
pick-up and delivery; Performed many repairs, such as bronch channels,
insertion tubes, and angulation system rebuilds; PMI's; Trained technicians
and sales staff; Interviews and hiring; Conducted branch tours. I'm interested
in working for a company that wishes to open a facility here in Texas or has
